RRL hire a class 35 for their work in Kroonstad.

Hi guys.

RRL are hiring a diesel again from Transnet in Kroonstad. Got her today
heading towards the exchange yard near the Welkom show grounds. This
photo is taken at the Jan Hofmeyer Road crossing where the old parachute
water tank still stands.

Sightings

We got the Amatola at Virginia today - running about 6 hours late. The 34
class is at Hennenman, this is the return working of the Wessselsbron
pick-up. She was held back at Hennenman as the Amatola has priority. I
chatted to the assistant, his first question was: "Hoeveel fotos het jy al
van treine?" Anyway, chatted to him until the Amatola cleared the section at
Geneva.

The Phelophepa health train ventures into the Kei

These wonderful pictures come courtesy of Sheltam. The Phelophepa health train went into the Kei on Saturday and will be there for 3 weeks. This happened in January.

Will be a wonderful service to an area that needs it desperately. I have caught the Kei Rail passenger train. Highly recommended to any rail fan.
