Quiet week

Hi all.

A really pathetic week for train spotting...

To the South and to the North of Bloemhof we missed two Southbound ore trains behind 4x 10E's each in various liveries. Between Drie Ruiters and Makwassie a Northbound container train came past behind orange and blue 6E's, greetings from the crew. The unit's front door was open to give some relief against the heat.

Got two Spoorbaan Rail / Road vehicles busy in Welkom station.

At Theunissen two Spoorbaan trucks were busy on the rails. A Northbound load of containers was awaiting the right of way in the station behind orange E 1227 & orange E xxxx.

Orange 34 xxx was seen passing through Welkom en-route to Friedesheim with a load of timber.

Just North of Virginia, at the Sand river bridge, we got a white Rail inspection trolley heading towards Bloemfontein.

The normal ore haulages were seen.

Greetings.
J & J.
