Hennenman station.







Hi guys.

The guys were busy uplifting rails in the old Hennenman yard area today. This specific line was the one that went to the tri-angle. These rails are headed for Vierfontein, to be used for the re-laying of the Orkney line.

    Any idea of the condition of the bridge crossing the Vaal?

    Yes, Orkney (Eastleigh) to Westleigh. Don’t forget the line also runs from Vierfontein to Bothaville and from there to Ancona/Rooiblom and on to Whites. The bridge is to be sandblasted and painted.
